The numbers are specific to your metabolism and that is why it works. It also teaches you a lot about food so that eventually you learn how to manage it without having to track forever, as you see what is healthiest for you. When serious about a fitness goal, logging is the best way to see results while keeping consistent.
This week's topic shows easy ways to plan and build your meals (these are also great tips for when you are eating out at a restaurant).
"Measurement is the first step that leads to control and eventually to improvement. If you can't measure something, you can't understand it.
If you can't understand it, you can't control it. If you can't control it, you can't improve it."
